My Niddy Noddy is Here!

I came home from band last night to find a package waiting for me on the kitchen table. Our mailman has this thing for hanging our packages in a plastic trash bag off our mailbox flag. So, all I saw was a white bag on the table. I knew immediately that it was my niddy noddy. DH said that it was too heavy to be the car parts he is waiting for and besides it was addressed to me. I didn’t care what time it was, I went straight to my wheel and skeined up the yarn there and took pictures. Technically this is my second and third skeins of yarn ever, but it is my first and second skeins on my wheel since the first one was on a drop spindle. I haven’t set the twist on these yet, but I did put them in a pretty little twisted skein package to try that out and to take pretty pictures.

And a close-up of that yarn, notice that I’m actually learning and this skein is a bit better.

That’s about it for now. I now have two free bobbins so I can either spin up another pencil roving single to ply with what I have, or I can Andean ply it or I can try out Navajo plying. Exciting, exciting, exciting!
