I’m so not ready…

It is hard to believe that exactly 32 weeks ago, Catherine became a mommy when Noah was born at 34 weeks… which is exactly how far along I am right now.  I am so not ready.  Catherine had Noah via emergency C-section after she had been on bed rest in the hospital for 2 weeks.  So, that probably helped speed her along the path to being ready for mommyhood.

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll reach other milestones.  Next up is when Sue had her twin dragons at 35 1/2 weeks (about Thanksgiving for me).  We’ll see if I’m any closer emotionally to being a mommy at that point.  I’m not scared at all of the labor and delivery.  But I’m terrified of taking the little guy home and having to take care of him.  The tiny little infant is going to be totally depend on us.  For many years, yes yes I know, but in the beginning he will be so fragile.  Right now, today, I do not feel that I am ready for this challenge.  But are new parents ever ready?
