Status of the blog…

I wasn’t sure if I was going to continue the blog. I’ve gotten sucked into Facebook (mostly Mob Wars) and Twitter (see the side bar). But after our trip to Kansas for Scott’s grandmother’s funeral, his family was asking what happened to the blog. So, I try to post more.

So, what has happened in the past month+. Well, I went to CA for work, bought an iPod touch, and my satellite went splosh a couple of minutes after launch.  I finished Henry’s baby blanket about two weeks ago.

And I’m getting close to finishing two pairs of socks.  I joined the Painted Tiger Filet of Soles (hand painted hand blank) Sock Of The Month club.  I have the Feb one, America the Beautiful (seen here) to knit up once I finish my first pair of 2-at-a-time socks (I’m on the foot and have a couple of inches until I’m done).  I think the March filet might be shipping this weekend (she said she started to paint them yesterday).  The other pair I’m working on is another pair of Monkeys in Trekking color 136.  I finished the first sock in Kansas over the weekend and started the second one.

And since it has been a while since I posted  a Henry picture.  Here is one from a couple of weekends ago with his Grandma Teddi.  Please ignore the pacifier.  Since his molars have started to come in (one down three to go), he’s been a paci-addict.  It is getting better.  He doesn’t required it all the time anymore.  I’m hoping he goes back to his old self and only chew on the thing.
