It wasn’t a horrible trip, but we should have cancelled.  The weather was nice (despite the threat of rain in the forecasts), but the babe wasn’t at his best.  The night before we left it took him more than 2 hours to get to sleep.  While we were gone, it took a hair under two hours.  Major teething is going on (drool everywhere and he is trying to bite everything in sight including my arms if I’m not careful).  He also has a small cold and as of this morning he is on antibiotics for yet another ear infection.  Getting off the moutain wasn’t fun.  He was having problems getting his ears to equalize. 

How huge is the tent you ask?  Well, besides the comparison with Henry above, here is a view into “living room” window, you can see in the “bedroom” the queen size air mattress on the right and a pack’n play on the left.

I put the tent (except for the fly) pretty quickly.  The people in the spaces across from us even commented on how quickly I got it up.  I thought it was funny later in the evening when I saw it take a group of 8 young adults to get up a tent smaller than this.
