Lots of Progress

After we got back from shopping yesterday (I didn’t find anything I wanted at the kitchen store… the horrors!), I turned my attention to stitching. I was going to work on Noah’s Ark… but I decided to finish up the backstitching on Square 2 of Rainforest Afghan. It was just the big leaf so I figured it wouldn’t take all that long. It took a bit longer than I anticipated, but I finished it in time to get some Ark stitching in. I concentrated on the border at the bottom. They are the boxes that go around the (over-one) animals. So, here are the latest scans for the two.
