Silly little boy

I’ve switched Henry from using a wash cloth to a small baby toothbrush to keep his little teeth clean. I’m using the infant brush from Safety 1st. My first attempt was Friday night while Scott was at kendo. At first he didn’t want to open his mouth and kept it clamped and was shaking his head no-no-no (one of his new tricks). But I knew the secret. He loves to watch me brush my teeth in the morning. So, I made the electric toothbrush noise and the silly little guy open his mouth right up, with a smile even, so I could brush his little pearlies.

So, it is a big weekend. Today is my birthday… whee… but tonight mom and Traci are coming over so we can pack up our one checked suitcase and leave for the airport a ‘o dark hundred (4:30am). We have a very early flight to Miami and then a cab ride over to our cruise ship! I’ll be gone until late Monday night. I think I’m going to miss the little guy more than I was expecting (I was okay with daycare). Last night I went into his room while he was sleeping a couple of times before I went to bed. I’ll probably do that again tonight and then tomorrow morning before we leave.
