High Speed for Jenni?

Maybe not…  I live in the boonies.  No DSL, no cable.  We have Directv and I’ve heard not so great things about satellite internet so I don’t want to go there.  There are three companies around me that offer wireless broadband.  I’ve contacted two for site surveys (the third is more expensive and further away).  I got an email from one that said no line of sight to their equipment.  The other company was coming by today so hopefully I’ll hear what they think in a couple of days.

I’m getting really really tired of dial-up.  It wouldn’t be so bad, but now a days everyone assumes you have high speed and most website and emails are done with that mind set.  I’m getting tired of having to wait an hour for my email to download because someone sent me multiple 4M pictures of their daughter picking her nose.  First off… learn how to resize your pictures!  There is no reason to email out a picture that large!  And get a website.  Give me the option of if I want to spend the time downloading it or now.  Just so you know, I don’t mean you, there is one “friend” in particular who I’m talking about.  Let me tell you, we are not impressed (see neither is Henry)…
