Wild Dill and TOP

I discovered The Opinionated Parent a while back and have been following them via Bloglines. Every now and then I actually leave a comment (for a chance to win the reviewed product). And guess what I got today… and email from TOP that I won the $35 gift certificate from their Wild Dill review. I said if I won the gift certificate I would get either Andrew the Hippo or the striped Goose. There were over 200 entries in that review and they picked me! I like to think there is a special connection between Henry and Hippos. Okay, I only say that because one of the hippos in the game Hungry Hungry Hippos is named Henry and it seems like Henry always says yes to food.

Guess who can’t wait to get his hands on the new toy! Yes, it looks like he is crawling, but not quite yet. Scott thinks it will happen any day now, I’m thinking a month from now. He is definitely going to be closer to the 6 months range of 6-10 months that they say for crawling. He has been wanting to crawl for a couple of months. He can go backwards (arms up but not on knees) and forwards (on knees but not on arms aka “the plow”) and he can spin like a madman. Stacie at daycare says it might be a while because the chunkier babies have more weight to heft. Yeah, I heard that about rolling over and it didn’t hold him back then.
