I’ve been playing with my camera a bit but that is about it.  On Saturday we stopped by Holy Cross Abbey so Scott could get some fruit cake.  And since he tells me this all the time, fruit cake isn’t the stuff they sell in the stores at holiday time.  That is just nasty stuff.  Real fruit cake actually takes good.  We also stopped by a couple of stores in Winchester.  It shouldn’t be surprising, but everyone was really really nice.  Well, except for maybe the monk at the gift shop who I think was looking down his nose at us because we live in an area that has lots of construction (not that we live in one of those new developments, our house is over 30 years old).

Then on  Sunday we stopped by my sister’s (after the dedication of a new school building that we played at) for my nephew ‘s birthday.  I took new pictures of all of the kids for her stairwell (desaturated to B&W to match the older ones).  So, instead of doing them all at once, today you get my nephew since it is his 12th birthday today!  Boy, kids grow up fast!
