I think the UPS guy stopped by our house after DH got home but before I did, because DH was surprised to see the huge monitor box outside when I asked him to help me carry it in.

After unpacking it (one part is bent and I think it might have happened during shipping since the photos before shipping don’t show it bent), I cut off the warp with the overshot pattern on it. Boy did that fabric stink! Then I set to work getting all the dirt and grime off the wood using Murphy’s Oil Soap. It cleaned up quite nice.

I was hoping to do an inspection of the heddles tonight and replace the rusted ones. But it seems that I might be doing some stained glassing instead. Maybe I’ll have enough time to measure the warp after I get home.
