But first we camped Saturday night. We had a nice camp fire and had some s’mores. And then fell asleep. Okay, he did. I have tend to have a hard time sleeping when camping. I keep thinking about bears and them attacking us. It didn’t help when it sounded like a bear was trying to get it into my car. There had no evidence of a bear attack so I have no clue what the noise was. I was thinking that my unrational fear of attacking bears would lessen in a campground (we usually go backpacking)… but nope, it was still there. When we woke up this morning it was nice and foggy (I love fog, it seems so magical). I tried to get a nice picture of it but when I got back from the bathroom it was starting to go away. But I did get this…

Then we drove another fifteen miles south on Skyline Drive and I dumped DH in the woods…

So he can go backpacking for a couple of days. He starts his new job next week and is taking a break this week. I have to go to work tomorrow (and the next and the next…) so he went by himself. I have lots of things in mind to keep myself busy while he is going (chick flicks and brownies and…)

When I got home, I just couldn’t keep my hands off this month’s Leaf Peep from Spunky Fiber club. A friend gave me membership into the club (not sure for how long though…). I have one month to get the 4 ounces of Romney finished up before next month’s gets here… Oh wait. I have less than a month and I won’t be here on the first of November. Umm… that means I’ll have two weeks to get November’s spun up after I get back.
