Even though I had a bad Friday (won’t get into that, I’m trying to get over it), the weekend went well. Granted it helped that it was 80°F and beautiful. I did the final pinning on Noah’s Ark and delivered it to its new home on Sunday.

I also finished the button and buttonhole bands on the cardigan. I’m very unhappy with the buttonhole band so I’ll probably redo that one and maybe even both.

And (Sue is happy about this), I started the baby booties. I’ve never made baby booties before, actually I’ve never made any type of baby clothes before. But I think the design for these is just really cool. There will be a seam down the back of the bootie and down the sole. The instep of the bootie was done with short rows. I just have to seam this bootie and then pick up the stitches for the litle ankle strap.
