So, *if* I ever receive my Trindle, I don’t care how much I like it, I’m never ordering from them again.

I ordered it last Thurday via Etsy.  No problemo with them taking my money.  I got two emails on Friday.  The first said it was going to be mailed that day and if it didn’t arrive by Mon/Tues to let him know.  The second said it was going to be mailed on Saturday and if it didn’t arrive by Tues/Wed to let him know.  The second one never referenced the first and it was like he never said it was going to be mailed on Friday.  My post office is super slow so I add a day or two to shipping estimates.  I posted in the Trindle group on Ravelry that I was hoping it should arrive today or tomorrow given the slowness of my post office…

And guess what I just got… a PM via Etsy saying that my Trindle went into the mail… today and was sent first class and should arrive in a couple of days… With no mention of the fact that he told me it was mailed out 5 days ago!  It was like this was the first email he ever sent me.  I’m sorry, but I can understand things happening and being delayed, but fess up to it.  At least say, sorry I haven’t been able to get to the PO, but I finally was able to mail it out this morning.  Don’t pretend that you never gave me an estimated arrival date of two days ago!  That is so unprofessional that it isn’t even funny.  And I think the only reason he even sent me that PM was because I posted today in his group on Rav.

[Update] So, in response to my “I’m confused, I got an email saying it was mailed on Saturday,” his response said that his record did show that he did email and he has a receipt from the post office mailing a trindle to that zip code on Saturday.  So, that this point, I’m either getting none, just the one I ordered, or two.  He said he has a new mailing system in place and it has some bugs still to work out.  I’m thinking, how hard is it to track mailing out about 30 packages over a month period (been there, done that)?
