Dance Dance Baby

Yay!  My DDR3 arrived yesterday.  Scott was kind enough to help with getting Henry to sleep (we’ve been having major issues all week) so I could try it out.  I set it up during bathtime.  At one point I had a naked little Henry trying to dance on my mat.  I took Christine’s recommendation and did all the tutorials (and there were a bunch).  Then I started and realized that I don’t have as much groove as I thought I did.  I also found out it is hard to dance when there is a screaming baby in the house.

Hopefully Henry will go to sleep a bit better soon and I can get in some quality time with my new dance mat.  We’re thinking it is his first set of molars.  He’s been horrible all week and at one point seemed to be screaming in pain (he only does this at bedtime, the rest of the time he is his usual happy go lucky self).  We’ve been giving him Motrin before bed (that is only when he needs it) and I guess it is helping some.  For the past three nights we’ve had to rock him to sleep and we haven’t had to do that for months.

I find it funny that before this week I was wishing for his molars to show up.  Now that I think he is working on them and we are in teething hell, I’m wondering why I was wishing for this!

Oh, and I think I figured out why my waistline was getting a bit snug.  AF decided to show up this week.  I guess I can say she is now back to her regular visits.  Last month she stopped by for a very quick visit (like less than a day) after being absent for 20 months.  She show up with not a whole lot of fanfare, but I’m okay with that.
