Attack the Goose!

I think he might like his tomato (no salmonella here) and saffron stripped goose from Wild Dill.  I won a gift certificate to Wild Dill from The Opinionated Parent and the remainder was paid for with the Paypal reward I redeemed at Harris Polls).  While I really like the goose (organic and extremely cute), my first impression was that he was much smaller than I was thinking.  He is suppose to be the large goose and 13″ tall.  I think he only reaches 13″ if you stand him on his floppy knit feet.

Today is the last day of school and since the preschool/daycare follows the school schedule, they are going to be closed starting tomorrow until after the 4th.  Since we burned what little vacation we had saved up with all the hospital visits, I have various friends and relatives lined up to help watch him.  The rest of this week, Henry will be playing with Sue and her twin dragons.  I think they might be surprised when they see him.  It has been more than three months since Sue last saw him and her “dragons” haven’t seen him since January!  She’ll probably say the same thing my MIL said on Saturday, “Wow, he really does have a lot of hair” (in reference to this post).
