I’m insane, I’m nervous, I hope I get the courage to do it… I’m running in a 5K on Saturday. I’m pretty sure I will come in Dead F&@*ing Last which is better than Did Not Finish which I guess is better than Did Not Start (that what the title means). I’m going with DH to the race. I guess the good thing about him running faster than me is that he’ll be there at the end cheering me on.

Last night on my way home after work, I stopped and did a bunch of errands including getting a new suitcase. I wanted something between the one weeker and one monther that I have. So, I got a Swissgear 25″ Upright in Red. Now my luggage will match my pocket knife!

I’ve been buying things like crazy this past week. I bought a skein of Limeade Lamb’s Pride Worsted for a Lime hedgehog. And since I didn’t want to pay shipment for one skein, I also got two balls of Regia Bamboo sock yarn in Jaffa which arrived yesterday. I’m happy to report that Limedade goes really well with the Lime Fun Fur.

I was reading a blog yesterday and saw a link for some cool sock yarn on Ebay and… well.. I just won the auction for some angora/wool sock yarn in autumn colors. My stitching order from ABC Stitch also shipped. So, I’ll soon have clamps again for my Q-snaps. I usually use 11″ and I only have 3 clamps for my two frames. I’ve been stealing from a clamp from the 8″ set (which is also down a clamp or two). I also ordered Britty Panda. I got notice that it shipped yesterday. So, I expect this to be an exciting week.

Wow… DH just called from home. HOME! He is supposed to be in the backcountry backpacking. It seems that he wanted to see how far he could hike in a day and did his 43 miles in three days instead of four. Of course his feet are now all torn up and he won’t be running for a while. So, it will be just me running the race on Saturday. He said he will be at the end cheering me on and taking pictures.
