Surprise!

While working on my hedgehog over the weekend, the front part reminded me of the EZ surprise baby jacket, so I’ve decided that his name will be Mr. Surprise Hedgehog. Last night he took a wet and soggy trip in the washer.

I added his eyes at lunch (12mm solid black plastic doll eyes). And I have to say, that it does dramatically give him more character. He is currently sitting under my desk next to my computer at work to dry some more.

I also started (yet another) new project. I joined the Wednesday QS Stitch Along on the HAED BB. I’m working on Dreaming Mermaid. Between feeding DH and felting Surprise, I didn’t get a lot done.

I’m stitching this 2 over 1 tent on 30 ct Murano. I’m currently working on the blue border in the top left corner. I think my plan will be to stitch the entire border on this page before starting the main part of the design (and confetti).
