The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Okay, it is really the horrible, the good and the great but well, I just couldn’t resist the title. So, the horrible news first. I took my oboe into the shop to get fixed yesterday and she said that she couldn’t do anything for it. It is beyond repair. The good is that she didn’t charge me for the tinkering she did and that I have my oboe back (for whatever that is worth). And the great news… I talked to my DH last night and he is going to buy me a new oboe as a combined birthday/Christmas/Valentines/Anniversary/… gift. The actual number of gift occassions still is open and probably depends on what I end up with.
