I was back to my cross stitch rotation this week with a bit of spinning and knitting thrown in. So, I started at the top of my list and worked on Scent of Old Roses this week. I concentrated on finishing up the stitching (I didn’t feel like beading after I spilled three of my bead containers). I finished the Wisper on the lower section of the dress and all the stitching up to about the waist. I also worked some on the over one skin on the right arm.

I also spun up all of the freebie wool that came with my wheel. The first try was a bulky/super bulky weight two ply. The second time, I think something clicked and I ended up with a two ply worsted weight. My niddy noddy is still backordered, so my bobbins are going to remain filled until it comes in.

I also started to knit a secret project for my sister (on the off chance that she stops by and reads this). My goal is to finish my 15 pieces by the beginning of May. And at the rate I’m going I could be finished by March (except I know I won’t get 2 pieces a week when I get serious about packing).
