My Louet finally made its way over the ocean and is currently sitting in the back of my car. I picked it up from the Post Office this morning!

Good thing yoga doesn’t start back up until next week… because that means I can go straight home after work and play with my new toy! And it arrived about two days early (okay not such a big deal when the prediction was 6 weeks!).

In preparation for my new wheel, I ordered a nostepinne, niddy noddy, WPI tool, and a variety sample pack from Woodland Woodworks. The sample pack is great! It has 15 – 1/2 ounce samples of American Medium Wool Top, Merino Superwash Top, Colonial Heather Top, Coopworth or Romney Sliver, Merino Heather Top, Hand Dyed Wool Top, Merino/Silk Top, Alpaca Top, Mohair Yearling Top, Bleached Tussah Silk Top, Breeder’s Cotton Sliver, Flax Sliver, Hemp Sliver, Ingeo Top, and Soy Silk Top. Lots of fun stuff to play with.
