I ran around all weekend like a crazy woman. I woke up at 8:30 Saturday morning so I could run to Ikea and get a Christmas present. I got back about 4. I was planning on staying at home for a bit before going to a friend’s but DH decided to take a nap. So, I started to assemble the items I bought at Ikea since I have to do some painting on them before they are gifted. Gee… did the hammering wake you up? We got back about 11:30 and promptly went to sleep. Next day, wake up about 8:30 again and get on the road about 9:30 to go to the grocery store, the video store, and the tree farm. We get back about 11 with a tree in tow (which promptly got left on the porch). I whipped up a red velvet cake while DH made the soup and broiled the shrimp. Then I tidy up a bit, change for the concert and get on the road about 12:45 to head to the Christmas concert. The concert went well. It started at 1:30 and lasted with no intermission until 3:00. Then we head back home this time with family in tow. Get dinner ready, give my sister and her DH their birthday presents and do the cake thing. Everyone is on the road about 5:45. So, then DH goes and takes a nap after helping bring the tree in and put it in its stand. I decorate the tree and he sleeps. Then I go back to assembling the Ikea items. Gee… did my hammering wake you up? We watch Along Came Polly and head to bed. And keep in mind that while 8:30 isn’t that early for some people, I am not a morning person.

So, in the mad frantic weekend, I did finish my sister’s Booga bag, but I forgot to take a picture (I’m sorry Annette!). But I’m either going to have her send me a picture or just wait until Christmas and get a picture then.
