Oh my Gosh!

Not only do I have a solo at church (yeah, I’ve pretty much decided to do it), but I have very exposed section in the next concert! I even have a duet with the piccolo in the March of the Belgium Paratroopers… or something like that. The probably the most interesting part… I wasn’t scared last night at practice when there were parts where it was just me playing! Oh my gosh, I’m developing as a musician. I thought I’d be scared to death (based on past experiences) and we even had a new conductor who I’ve never met before. I just hope I can remain as calm and collected for the concert as I did for last night’s practice.
