Through Rain or Sleet or Snow…

The USPS and Fed Ex will deliver, but not UPS. My 0.3 mile long driveway is a bit interesting to drive on right now after the wintery mix of the weekend. Of course that didn’t stop the USPS or Fed Ex from delivering packages yesterday. But I guess the UPS guy was just too scared. So, instead of leaving a notice or even attempting my driveway, they chickened out and according to the tracking information, they declared “EMERGENCY CONDITIONS BEYOND UPS’ CONTROL”. So, no computer for me yesterday. I don’t think my driveway got any better over night, so I’m going to have to arrange to pick it up myself. I still think the UPS guy is a wimp. If DH’s two wheel drive pick up truck can get in and out of the driveway, the UPS guy should have no problem.I spent over two hours last night leading the next house. I think it is my most complicated house yet. Tonight I start to fill in the color. I couldn’t find the 11×14 frame of the type I like, so I send DH off to another store that check there. The store is right next to his friend’s house that he goes to on Tuesdays anyways. And I’m getting him to pick up some size 15 bamboo knitting needles. I couldn’t find any straight ones on Saturday so I got circulars. This is my first try with circulars and I have to say that I dislike the nylon. The nylon might just need to be relaxed more, but I don’t have the time for messing with them right now.
